Alongside his wife, Araceli Hernandez, the business was built on hard work, reliability, and a commitment to doing every job the right way.

We are Araceli and Federico Hernandez, proud to call Mount Airy home. Originally from Mexico, we have been happily married for 25 years and are blessed with five wonderful children who continue to be our greatest motivation.

Since 2005, Federico has worked in the tree service industry, gaining hands-on experience with several companies. While the work provided valuable knowledge, it often required constant travel and time away from family. In 2018, we made a life-changing decision. We chose to build something of our own so we could work together, stay close to home, and create a better life for our family.

That decision led to the start of Hernandez Tree Service. What began as a leap of faith has grown into a trusted local business proudly serving Mount Airy, Winston-Salem, and surrounding areas with reliable, honest, and high-quality tree care.

Federico brings years of experience and a strong focus on safety to every job. He personally handles challenging tree removals, including climbing when necessary, and is passionate about doing the job the right way. He also plans to share his knowledge by teaching safe tree climbing techniques, always emphasizing the importance of proper equipment and practices. His motto is simple and true: safety first.

Araceli has played a vital role in both the business and their family. She stepped away from her nursing career to focus on raising their children and helping build the company, but her passion for healthcare remains strong. She looks forward to returning part-time to the medical field, where she can once again care for others and be part of the fast-paced hospital environment she loves.
